The three great laws of expansion—Information, Sustenance, and Transformation—do not merely govern the birth of stars or the division of ancient cells. They are woven directly into the fabric of our daily human experience. They do not just exist "out there" in the cosmos; they are the operating system of the human mind and body.
To understand how a society functions, we must first look at how a human being takes a single action. Every action begins as a thought, and every thought is born from the interplay of three fundamental states of biological energy. These three states are the localized echoes of the universe’s forces of creation, balance, and evolution.
The first is the State of Catalyst (The Kinetic Drive). In physics, nothing moves without an initial injection of energy. In the human nervous system, this is the spark of excitation. It is the sudden firing of a neuron, the spike of dopamine, the restless urge to move, build, and initiate. This is the energy of pure creation. It is the biological force that generates a new thought from the void, driving the organism to seek out resources, reproduce, and expand its territory. Without this kinetic spark, the mind would remain forever blank, and the body forever still.
The second is the State of Coherence (The Equilibrium). A system driven only by explosive, kinetic energy will quickly burn itself out or tear itself apart. Therefore, nature counters the catalyst with equilibrium. In neurobiology, this is the state of homeostasis—a perfectly balanced neurochemical environment where serotonin and oxytocin flow, producing clear, calm, and sustained brainwaves. This is the energy of sustenance. It takes the raw, chaotic spark of a new thought and refines it, giving it clarity and purpose. It is the light of understanding that allows us to sustain our focus, nurture our creations, and maintain harmony within our bodies and our communities.
The third is the State of Restructuring (The Inertia). In the universe, stars must eventually collapse to forge new elements; energy must succumb to entropy. In the human body, this is the force of inertia, inhibition, and breakdown. It is often misunderstood as mere laziness or darkness, but it is entirely vital. It is the heavy, restorative sleep that prunes dead synapses in the brain. It is the physical resistance of our muscles breaking down so they can grow back stronger. It is the biological "brakes" (like the neurotransmitter GABA) that stop a thought from looping infinitely. This state breaks down the old, solidifies the lessons of the day, and provides the heavy, grounded matter that our kinetic energy must push against to make real progress.
These three states—the spark of the Catalyst, the clarity of Coherence, and the heavy breakdown of Restructuring—are in a constant, unbroken dance within our biology.
A thought flashes into existence through the Catalyst. It is refined, understood, and planned through Coherence. Finally, it overcomes the physical resistance of Inertia to manifest as a physical action performed by the body. This is the exact mechanism by which the invisible laws of the universe translate into human behavior.
We are not separate from the mechanics of the cosmos; every thought we have, and every action we take, is a microscopic reflection of the exact same forces that are currently expanding the universe.
